Environmental Responsibility
As part of the earthworks and construction industry we hold a firm conviction that it is our duty to tread as lightly as possible on our environment. We took the initiative of investing in screening plants for all our sand mining operations. Instead of clearing surface bush to strip-mine the easily accessible soil layers we are now able excavate deeper without expanding existing footprints — avoiding unnecessary clearing of indigenous vegetation.
We are also pioneering the recycling, processing and use of inorganic waste materials, including ‘secondary aggregates’ created from crushed construction materials like bricks and concrete and tar used in previous projects.
